“We would have clients come into our office and shortly into the consultation, I will find myself educating them on credit and finance. Most of my clients had no previous exposure to how credit works or had any knowledge of the benefits of having good credit. In addition, most of my clients do not know how to properly manage their finances or the importance of having a budget and setting financial goals. At that time, I knew that I had an obligation to the community by educating them on the importance of managing their credit and finances.”
With that in mind, Marshell founded CACF and began organizing financial education classes for youth and adults. Marshell’s passion for empowering others to achieve their financial goals has been the driving force behind CACFs efforts to continue educating our community on credit and finance.
